About us

As a couple we have spent a huge part of our lives in Prague. We have been having a good time, studying and building our careers...

Martin - I am a second chef at Prague´s restaurant La Degustation Boheme Bourgeoise which is already 2 years in a row Michellin star. Cooking means everything for me (next to family :) and I love to watch new trends. At this moment is for me the strongest challenge the molecular kitchen. In the latest time I participated in cooking contests as a member of regional team Czech Cook Asotiation

Marketa - Instead of diplomacy the fate and I decided to start studying gastronomy and hotel management and now I couldn´t imagine that I would choose different. After some experienes in different positions at many different restaurants I started to manage an Ambiente´s restaurant Pizza Nuova. Before the maternity leave I got some new knowlegde at hotel King´s Court Praha. Instead of career I decided to spend all possible time with children out of the city but then I realised that I couldn´t leave the restaurant enviroment and there has started the story of Venkoff pension.
